Salma Hayek left embarrassed after her dogs crashed a wedding

Salma Hayek was left horrified after her dogs escaped from her hotel room in the Bahamas and ate a guest’s wedding cake.
The Frida star used to be adamant about bringing her dogs with her when she was working and for one film, she pleaded with staff at a luxury hotel to allow them to stay. The hotel staff agreed and Hayek explains her pets would wait for her to return to the hotel room.
“They got me into a lot of trouble,’ she tells U.S. TV host Ellen DeGeneres. “One time I was in a luxurious hotel in the Bahamas and I begged them to let my dogs stay. They gave me a small house surrounded by a fence with a small courtyard. The dogs were very clever and they would open the door and wait for me to let them in…”
However, she couldn’t find them one night when she arrived home and was shocked to find them causing chaos at a wedding.
“One time I arrived home and they weren’t there,” she says. “I heard this screaming and a big commotion. Lupe loved cake more than anything – so many birthday parties were ruined… When I heard this I thought, ‘Oh my God this sounds like a cake.’
“I looked like hell,” she continues, “but I went to see what the commotion was. There was a beautiful wedding from what I could see, hiding behind a palm tree. There was a beautiful wedding cake… But instead of the bride and groom there was Lupe and Angie sitting there.”
Salma was eventually able to get the dogs away from the cake by blowing a dog whistle.
“They are all screaming and the bride is crying,” she adds. “I have all kinds of whistles for the dogs so I whistled and they knew what that meant. They both ran all the way back to the little house.”
