LOOK: Sandra Bullock Adopted A Second Child

Actress Sandra Bullock has become a mother to a second adopted child, just weeks after denying she had a new addition to the family.

The Blind Side star has shown off her new daughter, three and a half year old Laila, in a new photograph series for People magazine taken by snapper Bryan Randall, her new partner.

She had previously denied adopting a second child in October (15), telling Associated Press, “There is only one adopted child in my household… If I had a second adopted child, everyone would be hearing about it. I would be loud and clear and say, ‘Yes, I have officially adopted a second child’. Right now, Louis must be it.”

Sandra began the process of finding a sibling for her adopted son Louis three years ago, and she has subsequently adopted Laila, who had been in foster care in Louisiana.

“When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here,” she says. “I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time.”

She credits five-year-old Louis, who she adopted in 2010, for spearheading the process and says they have become inseparable.

Sandra admits Laila was terrified of her new home initially, saying, “I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere.”
