The Mean Girls star surrendered to Los Angeles authorities on Tuesday morning (20Jul10) and was booked into Lynwood Correctional Facility to begin her 90-day sentence.
Her legal representative, Shawn Chapman Holley, reveals the actress was “scared” as she entered the detention centre and has requested the support of her devotees to help her see through her punishment.
Holley says, “She’s scared as anyone would be. But she’s resolute and she’s doing it. She asks for your prayers and support.

“(Lohan) is accepting responsibility and (has) stepped up to the plate and is doing what has been asked of her.”
Lohan violated her probation from a 2007 DUI arrest by failing to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes.
