Screenwriter Michael France dead at 51

Screenwriter Michael France has died at the age of 51. France, who penned the scripts for Sylvester Stallone’s Cliffhanger, Bond movie GoldenEye and Fantastic Four, passed away on Friday (12Apr13) at his home in Florida.
He had been battling diabetes-related health issues for some time and was discovered comatose in his home by his sister, Suzanne France, nine months ago.
France sold his Cliffhanger spec script in 1991 and the movie became a blockbuster hit, launching his career in Hollywood.
