Selena Gomez has shown her appreciation for her mother by gifting her with a personalized Coach bag.
The singer and actress was tapped as the face of the fashion house in December (16), and she noted at the time that she couldn’t wait to work with designer Stuart Vevers and contribute to his creations.
Ahead of Mother’s Day (14May17), Selena decided to get creative with her present, resulting in a cute red tote with the initials ‘MT’, after her mum’s name Mandy Teefey, etched onto it.
Sharing the moment she gave her parent the accessory on Instagram, the Come & Get It hitmaker can be seen beaming while sat on the floor next to Mandy, who looks surprised while perched on a sofa.

“As the new face of @Coach, they gave me the opportunity to personalize this bag for my Momma (that I’m pretty sure my sister is going to steal anyhow). This is a very common exchange between the two of us. Happy (early) Mother’s Day to the woman who is the reason for my existence,” Selena captioned the sweet picture.
The brunette beauty, 24, has been often spotted with accessories from the label since joining the Coach family and most recently sported an adorable small bag with a gold chain and embroidered cherries at the Met Gala on Monday (01May17). What people didn’t notice until afterwards was that the bottom of the bag featured the words ‘love yourself first’, which is the sentiment she has tattooed on her back.
Vevers shared his delight at teaming up with Selena when announcing her role last year, noting she’s the perfect person to front the company.
