Tennis ace Serena Williams leapt to boyfriend Brett Ratner‘s defense on TV
on Monday night, when she was attacked for dating “a short little
guy” by quirky chat show host Donnie Deutsch.
The advertising mogul, a close friend of Rush Hour director Ratner, suggested
the filmmaker was “not very funny, not very talented” when he introduced
Williams on his show The Big Idea.
The tennis star laughed off his teasing, insisting, “He’s very funny, he’s
extremely talented, he’s amazing. I mean I love his work and I love the way he
works.”
