The actress, who plays Morticia in the hit Broadway show, organised a bash for her colleagues at the Nurse Bettie bar in Manhattan and booked a number of burlesque artists to perform, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
Shields tells the publication she has long admired burlesque as an art form, saying, “I really admire what these women do. There is such an art to it, they are able to embrace their sexuality, but also they make it fun.”
