Simon Cowell has scored $1 million (GBP66,667) charity donation by singing the Power Rangers theme in front of a crowd at a private Hollywood party. The X Factor host was among guests at a fundraiser for Friends of the Israel Defense Forces in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday (22Oct13), and he had to sing for his supper.
The father-to-be was asked by billionaire Power Rangers creator Haim Saban to sing the theme song for the sizeable donation, according to TMZ.com.
Cowell obliged, but then offered up 250,000 (GBP166,667) of his own money to put an end to the torture.
