Singer Chase Bryant apologises for letting fame get to his head

Country star Chase Bryant has issued a lengthy apology to fans for letting his fame inflate his ego.
The Room to Breathe singer took to Instagram on Tuesday (06Mar18) to get some things off his mind, admitting he got carried away with the success of his 2014 debut single, Take It on Back, and Little Bit of You, thinking he had “changed the world”.
“I let it all go to my head like I swore it never would,” he wrote. “It got the the absolute best of me, and I toted my charisma like I was some sort of superhero.”
Chase’s rapid rise to fame hit a stumbling block with his next two releases, which “didn’t necessarily work as we all hoped and planned”.
The setback brought the singer tumbling back down to earth, but it’s only recently that the 24-year-old has learned to accept his limitations, and he’s channelled his innermost feelings into his new material in a bid to show fans the real Chase.
“I want to be more honest than I ever had the guts to be,” he continued. “I’ve been spending a lot of time in the studio these past few months cutting music that I am so thrilled about, and to just simply be a part of! To say I’m ready for you to hear this would be an understatement.”
Concluding his note, he added, “Thanks for hanging in there with me. It’s going to be really fun. I promise.”
The new album will be the follow-up to Chase’s self-titled release in 2014.
