Singer Warrel Dane dies at 56

Rocker Warrel Dane has died at the age of 56.
The singer passed away after suffering a heart attack in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Wednesday (13Dec17).
“He died in the night,” guitarist Johnny Moraes tells Brazil’s UOL. “He was in the apartment where he stayed during the recording of the album when it happened. I gave him cardiac massage and we called the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU), who came very fast, but when they arrived, he was already dead.”
“His health was already very weak because of his diabetes and his problems with alcoholism,” he adds. “He was already facing a lot of health problems.”
Dane was best known for his work with the bands Sanctuary and Nevermore. He also released a solo record, titled Praises to the War Machine, in 2008.
