Slayer singer Tom Araya spat on by fan

A Slayer fan had to be removed from a concert in San Diego, California last week (ends22Jul16) after spitting on frontman Tom Araya.
The rockers performed at the San Diego House of Blues on Thursday (21Jul16) as part of their Comic-Con visit, but one member of the audience got a little too rowdy and hurled a loogie at the stage, which landed on the bemused singer.
Video footage of the incident has since surfaced online, showing Araya keeping his cool as he repeatedly can be heard asking, “What was that about?”, as the audience demands the culprit be kicked out.
Security officials are then depicted escorting the person out of the venue, as Araya looks on from the stage.
The rockers had been in the city to promote the band’s new comic book, Slayer: Repentless, which is set to hit retailers later this year (16), reports Billboard.com.
