Sleepless in Seattle musical heading to West End

The stage adaptation of beloved movie Sleepless in Seattle is heading to London’s West End.
The production, based on the 1993 romantic comedy of the same name, will first make its U.K. debut at Theatre Royal Plymouth’s Lyric Theater in March (17), followed by a run in Dublin, then finally to London’s famed West End.
The news comes three years after the show had its world premiere in 2013 at the Pasadena Playhouse in California. That version featured a script by writer Jeff Arch, who co-wrote the original screenplay with Nora Ephron and David S. Ward, and a score by Ben Toth and Sam Forman.
It is unclear whether the same creative team behind the 2013 production are also attached to the U.K. run.
Like the film starring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, the Sleepless in Seattle musical also centres around a recently widowed man whose young son calls a radio talk show in an attempt to find a partner for his father.
