Smirnoff, a regular on American TV show Dancing With the Stars, announced her engagement to the sportsman in November (10) – a year after they started dating – and they are now planning to wed in Cozumel on 21 January (12), according to Eonline.com.
Smirnoff, who was a champion ballroom dancer in Britain before finding success in America, was previously engaged to fellow professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy, while pitcher Penny has been linked romantically to actresses Alyssa Milano and Eliza Dushku.
