Snoop Dogg plays surprise set at video gamers convention

Rapper Snoop Dogg thrilled tech nerds and gamers at the E3 convention in Los Angeles on Wednesday (12Jun13) when he performed an unannounced set at a party to launch upcoming animated movie Turbo. The hip-hop star, aka Snoop Lion, performed new song Let the Bass Go, which features on the soundtrack for the Dreamworks Animation film, at the L.A. Live event, held annually to promote the latest video games and related technology.
Michelle Rodriguez and Michael Pena, who also voice characters in the new family film, joined the rapper onstage to promote the movie after introducing him to fans.
