Sophie Turner and Justin Theroux front new campaign for Louis Vuitton smartwatch

Justin Theroux and Sophie Turner are the stars of a moody new campaign for Louis Vuitton’s smartwatch.

The actors appear alongside Chinese star Liu Haoran in a glossy campaign, for the second edition of the Tambour Horizon timepiece, which launches on Wednesday (06Feb19). The series of ads will run both in print and online, including on social media, reports WWD.

Set against a backdrop which includes cinematic views of a desert, a motorcycle wheel kicking up dust and a night cityscape, Game of Thrones star Sophie is joined by model Liya Kebede and Thai model and actress Urassaya Sperbund.

“We move in orbit, in the landscape of time,” says Sophie, who is dressed in a black polo neck sweater and Louis Vuitton monogram print miniskirt, as scenes flash by of Louis Vuitton ambassador Justin on a motorcycle and Liya reclining in a pool of water in the ad.

“I’m an explorer, are you?” she asks at the close of the stylish film clip, turning to look at the camera.
Elsewhere, Justin is pictured dressed in leathers striding across the patio of a luxury villa.

Sophie has been a Louis Vuitton muse since 2017, and has starred in multiple campaigns for creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere, while Justin began working with the label in 2018.

Louis Vuitton entered the connected timepieces arena a year and a half ago with the Tambour Horizon smartwatch, which is operated by Google’s Wear OS operating system. And the second version of the watch features new design elements, colours and materials, including a new model in white ceramic.

It’s now available in polished steel, matte black and matte brown, and customers can choose from new interchangeable straps and various dial choices.

The Tambour Horizon watch costs between $2,250 and $8,500.
