Sound mixer Walt Martin dies at 69

Oscar-nominated sound mixer Walt Martin has died at the age of 69. Martin passed away from blood vessel disorder vasculitis at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California on 24 July (14).
He was best known for his work on a number of Clint Eastwood films, including Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby and Space Cowboys.
In 2007, Martin was nominated for an Oscar for Best Achievement in Sound Mixing for Flags of Our Fathers.
In addition to his movie work, Martin sound mixed TV shows including The Closer, Sons of Anarchy and Mad Men.
