Spice Girls attend final Viva Forever! show

Spice Girls stars Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton turned out to watch as the curtain fell on the band’s West End musical for the final time over the weekend (29Jun13). The pop group launched Viva Forever!, a stage show based on their songs, in London last year (12), but the musical was savaged by theatre critics and producers decided to close it down eight months early due to slow ticket sales.
The show was shut down following a final performance on Saturday night (29Jun13), and two Spice Girls were in the audience to see it one last time.
Bunton and Chisholm then joined the cast on stage at the end of the show as they took their final curtain call.
Chisholm thanked the cast and crew for all their hard work during the show’s brief run in a post on her Twitter.com page, while she also posted pictures from the final night at the Piccadilly Theatre.
