The Spider-Man musical will end its run on Broadway early next year (14). The superhero show, which features music from U2’s Bono and The Edge, was one of the most expensive theatrical productions in history, and after a shaky start, rose to become one of Broadway’s biggest earners.
But after a major dip in earnings over the autumn (13), producers have decided to end its Broadway run in January (14) and take the musical to Las Vegas.
The show’s spokesman Rick Miramontez says, “Further details will be announced in the weeks to come.”
