Statham test drives new Ford Mustang performance car

The Transporter star, who is a car fanatic, was given permission to rev up behind the wheel of the new performance motor as part of Ford bosses’ bid to promote their new vehicle.

Ryan Phillippe, True Blood hunk Joe Magniello, Amber Heard and new Superman Henry Cavill are also among the celebrities who are expected to get the keys to a brand new Mustang in the coming weeks.

Actor and U.S. TV personality Mario Lopez picked up the keys to his test Boss 302 on Thursday (28Apr11).

The celebrities will each get a car to test drive for two weeks.
