Designer Stella McCartney made sure to catch England’s opening match at the 2018 Fifa World Cup by streaming the game live in Italy following her debut Men’s Fashion Week show.

Stella, the daughter of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, treated guests at her Milan presentation, including model and actor Luka Sabbat, to a garden party on Monday evening (18Jun18), complete with Aperol Spritz cocktails and fresh pizzas served in McCartney-branded boxes.

Presenting men’s and womenswear, the British fashion icon also made sure the Tunisia vs England game was shown via a giant projector.

“We need to find the football!” she exclaimed during the evening to The Hollywood Reporter.

“England’s playing tonight! I need to go and watch it. It’s my dad’s birthday, so I’m hoping that brings us good luck. Come on England!”

“We’re aware that fashion can be relentless. We just wanted everyone to have a good time,” she added of her party setting.

England went on to win the game 2-1.
