Stephen Marcus launches gangster tours of London

Marcus, who played stolen goods dealer Nick The Greek in Guy Ritchie’s 1998 hit, will guide tourists around areas of the city’s East End ruled by notorious underworld twins Ronnie and Reggie Kray in the 1950s and ’60s.

The trek will include stops at The Blind Beggar pub, where Ronnie Kray gunned down a rival crook, and another bar where 1990 movie The Krays was shot.

Marcus will also show clients various locations in London where Ritchie filmed scenes for his gangster movie.

The actor tells British newspaper The Sun, “I’m launching a walking tour called Gangster London around Bethnal Green and Shoreditch. It takes in The Blind Beggar pub, where Ronnie Kray shot George Cornell, Repton Boxing Club, where the card game in Lock, Stock was shot, The Royal Oak in Columbia Road, where The Krays was filmed and where Lock, Stock was shot, and many others.”
