Sting’s new musical, The Last Ship, is heading to the Broadway stage this autumn (14). The rocker, who is currently touring North America with Paul Simon, has learned the show he has been working on for years will hit the Neil Simon Theatre in New York on 30 September (14).
Inspired by his own memories of growing up in Newcastle, England, the musical follows the fortunes of a man who returns to his home in a shipyard town after 14 years of travelling the world.
The Last Ship will have its world premiere this summer (14) in Chicago, Illinois.
