Superstar Prince communicates to workers via his manager

Music royalty Prince refuses to speak directly to his employees and insists on only communicating via his manager. The Purple Rain hitmaker admits he only deals with those he trusts the most, so he rarely feels the need to address his team personally.
He tells V Magazine, “This organisation is different than most, in the sense that we don’t take directions from the outside world. It’s like a galaxy. The sun is in the centre giving off energy, and everything revolves around it… Nobody really talks to me.”
Referring to his manager, Julia Ramadan, Prince adds, “I talk to her. She talks to you… And so on and so forth. If I trust her, then you can trust her.”
And Prince ensures anyone wishing to reach him goes through Ramadan by refusing to own a cell phone.
When asked if he has an iPhone, Prince tells the interviewer, “Are you serious? Hell, no”, before mimicking a woman’s voice, and quipping, “Where is my phone? Can you call my phone? Oh, I can’t find it.”
