‘Survivor’ is Fittest in the Ratings

Can we hear ya say whoop-whoop?

As if it’s any surprise, the big “Survivor” finale whooped ass in the area of ratings, drawing an estimated 51.7 million tube viewers during last night’s two-hour extended bonanza, per figures released today.

And what’s more, the only program that has attracted more viewers this year is the Super Bowl. The last episode of “Survivor” even beat out the Academy Awards and the two political conventions — combined — in terms of total viewership.

So if you think Richard, the corporate American who took away the $1 mil grand prize, was the big winner, think again.
