Susan Sarandon’s pet pees on chat show host’s rug

Susan Sarandon’s pet dog left U.S. chat show host Chelsea Handler with a reminder of the actress’ most recent visit by peeing on the host’s studio rug. The Oscar winner decided to introduce little Penny to Handler during a recent taped appearance on her late-night show Chelsea Lately and kicked off the chat by ordering her pooch not to relieve herself during the programme.
But Penny picked up the scent of another dog and had to go.
As cameras caught the dog peeing, Sarandon said, “No, no, no…” but Handler laughed off the leak, joking, “That’s OK, let her pee. We’re leaving soon anyway.”
Handler is departing her E! show to embark on a new web chat series.
Shocked Sarandon added, “This is the first show that she’s urinated on, ‘cos she just did Letterman… She obviously feels very much at home here.”
