Suspects arrested in murder of rapper Chinx

Two men have reportedly been charged for the 2015 murder of French Montana’s rap affiliate Chinx Drugz.
The 31-year-old, real name Lionel Pickens, was hit multiple times in a drive-by shooting while sitting in his Porsche at a red light in Queens, New York on 17 May, 2015.
Now, more than two years later, police have arrested two suspects for their alleged involvement in the murder.
Fox 5 NY News reporter Lisa Evers broke the story of the first arrest via Instagram on Thursday (14Dec17), when she shared video footage of cops escorting a handcuffed man into a building.
“Suspect under arrest for 2015 murder of rapper #CHINX,” she captioned the clip.
TMZ sources have since identified the male as 32-year-old Quincy Homere, while the second suspect has been named as 26-year-old Jamar Hill.
Reports suggest they have both been charged with murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. Both men had already been serving time behind bars on separate crimes when they were arrested for the death of Chinx, who was a member of Montana’s Coke Boys group.
