A $42 million lawsuit against rapper/producer Swizz Beatz has been dismissed.

Bosses at Brooklyn, New York company Metro-Gem Leasing & Funding Corp. filed a civil racketeering lawsuit last year (16), claiming Swizz, real name Kasseem Dean, leased 11 cars for himself and his wife Alicia Keys through his production company, and then “conspired” with auto dealer Macky Dancy to sell a Ferrari F-12 car to a third party after its lease went into default.

Metro-Gem’s lawyer Paul Solda also alleged that four other car leases went into default.
On Monday (19Jun17), the lawsuit was dismissed, according to TMZ.

“This lawsuit was nothing more than an attempted shakedown of a public figure that had nothing to do with the facts,” Dean’s attorney Mathew West says. “We are gratified, but not surprised, that the court agreed with us.”
