Sylvester McCoy revives Doctor Who for audiobook

Scottish actor SYLVESTER MCCOY has reprised his role as DOCTOR WHO for a new audiobook.
The Hobbit star played the Time Lord between 1987 to 1989, and in a 1996 TV movie, and he has returned to his most famous role 19 years later for an audio drama based on the novel Damaged Goods, which was part of a Doctor Who book series released in the 1990s.
The story, about an alien inside the body of a drug dealer, was written by Russell T. Davies, who went on produce and write the show when it returned in 2005.
McCoy tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “It’s a great story and it’s historical. It’s a great privilege to do it.”
