Sylvester Stallone reaches Kickstarter goal

Hollywood action man Sylvester Stallone is celebrating after raising more than $250,000 (£166,000) on to get his next movie Reach Me into theatres. Director John Herzfeld set up a page on the crowdsourcing site on 20 August (13) in the hope of generating his target amount by 19 September (13), but the Reach Me team has already surpassed its goal.
As WENN went to press, the Kickstarter page had pulled in $264,339 (£176,225) with almost two weeks to go before deadline.
The drama stars Stallone as a retired sports coach who writes a self-help book, and the cast also boasts Kelsey Grammer, Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Connolly, Tom Sizemore, and rapper Nelly.
