T-Bone Burnett to receive Maestro Award

Veteran musician T-Bone Burnett is to receive the prestigious Maestro Award at the upcoming Billboard Hollywood Reporter Film and TV Music Conference. The famed producer, who scooped an Oscar in 2010 for his song The Weary Kind from the movie Crazy Heart, will be handed the honour at the event next month (Oct13).
The award is given every year to artists who have made an historic contribution to film and television music.
As part of the two-day conference, which takes place on 29 and 30 October (13) in Hollywood, Burnett will also join in a question-and-answer session following the presentation of the award.
