Tali Lennox credits art with helping her grieve late boyfriend

Tali Lennox is using art as therapy to help her to cope with the tragic death of her boyfriend.
Tali, the daughter of Eurythmics musician Annie Lennox, and her beau Ian Jones were involved in a kayaking accident in August 2015, which resulted in the model and photographer drowning.
Speaking about how she is dealing with her grief, Tali, 24, credits her creative side for aiding her emotional journey.
“Art helped me heal so much. I don’t know how I would have coped without that,” she told Britain’s ES Magazine.
“I like forms of healing that come from within. You don’t have to go to a therapist (or) lean on someone’s shoulder. You have a kind of sacred space from yourself.”
The star, who staged her first major show at the Chelsea Hotel in New York last year (16), continued to describe the incident as “surreal” and explained that she’s still struggling to accept the fact that Ian is no longer around.
However, she does stress the importance of “embracing” the heavier moments in life and insists a positive attitude is key to helping cope with change.
When Tali isn’t busy with her art she spends time with her famous mother, who resides in London.
“When I’m in London I just hang out with my mum all the time,” she smiled. “She’s so curious about everything. She’s got such an interesting outlook on life. We often feel the same things – but she has the experience and the history to deal with them.”
