The former Doctor Who star will appear on the current season finale of the sitcom and insiders suggest she’ll be the replacement for Carell’s Michael Scott.
The funnyman is departing the show after six years.
In the final episode of this season, Tate will reportedly compete for Scott’s vacant job alongside Ray Romano, Will Arnett, James Spader and Will Ferrell, according to AOL.com.
