Taylor Swift shot scenes for her new music video at a kebab shop in London over the weekend (14-15Oct17).
The Shake It Off star, who is gearing up to release her album Reputation next month, filmed scenes in Kentish Delight fast food shop in Kentish Town, north London on Friday night, as part of her new music video, which depicts a night out in the British capital.
The singer recruited 60 members of crew, including backing dancers and extras, and kept security tight to ensure no images leaked during the night shoot, which lasted from 9pm until 6am.
“Everything was arranged to the letter because Taylor runs a tight ship,” a source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper. “She didn’t want any images or snippets of the song to come out so all the crew were searched from head to toe and had to hand over their phones.
“Only one phone was allowed between them for the entire shoot. The same went for the 50 extras and six dancers at the filming.”
According to the publication, the video is a homage to her British boyfriend Joe Alwyn and the places they visited incognito together when they began dating this year, including his local pub.
“All of the locations are places she has been to with Joe,” a source said. “She has spent months quietly going under the radar in London this year and has been out a lot more than anybody realizes.
“It is quite telling that she has been hanging out in these regular and unexpected places. She wants to show people she is just a normal girl.”
Over the weekend, the 27-year-old was also caught filming inside a black taxi cab, a red London double-decker bus and on Millennium Bridge wearing a variety of casual, grungy looks. In one snap, she is wearing an oversized baseball jacket, fishnet tights and black boots, and in another, a checked blazer and stripy shirt.
During her stay in London, Taylor also paid a surprise visit to a fan and hosted an exclusive listening party for Reputation.
