Tears For Fears star returning to the stage after wife’s death

Tears For Fears star Roland Orzabal will have a heavy heart when he performs in London on Friday (27Oct17) – it will be his first concert since the death of his wife.
His longtime partner Caroline, who sketched the cover artwork for the band’s 1983 re-release of Pale Shelter, passed away in July (17), according to The Sun.
Her death forced Tears For Fears to cancel the remaining dates of their North American tour with Hall & Oates.
At the time, fans were told a “family emergency” had forced the duo to cancel dates, but there were no details.
“Roland is absolutely devastated by Caroline’s death,” a source tells The Sun. “Not only was she (Caroline) the mum to his two kids, she was also his soulmate who stuck by him through thick and thin. He’s really struggling to come to terms with not having her around. She was his rock and was the inspiration behind a lot of his music.”
Orzabal is expected to hit the stage at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Friday.
