The Beatles top rarest records list

The Beatles have topped a new list to find the most valuable vinyl records.
A copy of the group’s self-titled album, commonly known as the White Album and owned by drummer Ringo Starr, tops LoveAntiques.com’s round-up of the rarest.
The album sold at auction for over $923,000 (£730,000) last year (16).
The Fab Four rule the top three, with the pre-Beatles The Quarrymen’s That’ll Be The Day/In Spite Of All The Danger coming in at two, and a one-sided acetate of the group’s 1963 single Love Me Do in third position.
Jean Michel Jarre’s Music For Supermarkets and Frank Wilson’s Northern Soul classic Do I Love You (Indeed I Do) round out the top five, while the Sex Pistols’ God Save The Queen, The Beatles’ Please Please Me, Robert Johnson’s Kind Hearted Woman Blues, and Bohemian Rhapsody/I’m In Love With My Car by Queen also feature in the top 10.
