The Chainsmokers Join the Beatles and Bee Gees with Triple Top 10s


The Chainsmokers have tied a new U.S. chart record with the Bee Gees and The Beatles by landing three hits in the Billboard Hot 100 top 10.

The duo’s new Coldplay collaboration, Something Just Like This, has shot into the top five at five, while the pair’s Paris dips to seven and Closer, which spent 12 weeks at number one, rounds out the new top 10.

The Chainsmokers become the third duo or group and the 14th artist overall to hit a big trio in the same week.

Closer has also racked up 31 weeks in the top 10, tying a record set by Mark Ronson and Bruno MarsUptown Funk! Only LeAnn RimesHow Do I Live spent more weeks in the top 10 – that hit lingered for 32 weeks in 1997 and 1998.

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran‘s Shape of You scores a sixth week at number one, keeping MigosBad and Boujee at two, and Zayn and Taylor Swift‘s I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker) at three.
