The Cure working on first album in six years

Veteran British rockers The Cure are gearing up to release their first studio album in six years. The Lullaby hitmakers, fronted by Robert Smith, will unveil the tentatively-titled 4:14 Scream later this year (14), but the tracks aren’t exactly ‘new’ – they were recorded while the band was working on 2008’s 4:13 Dream.
The band has also revealed plans to embark on another Trilogy world tour, performing three albums in their entirety, to mark the 35th anniversary of The Cure’s debut album, Three Imaginary Boys, which hit retailers in 1979.
The Cure previously staged a Trilogy show in 2002, playing all tracks from Pornography, Disintegration and Bloodflowers, and they followed it up with another such gig in 2011, which featured every song from Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds and Faith.
