The-Dream welcomes eighth child

R&B star The-Dream has become a father for the eighth time.
The singer, songwriter, and producer, real name Terius Nash, shared his wife LaLonne’s pregnancy news in mid-July (17), and on Tuesday (15Aug17), the couple welcomed a baby girl, named Maverick.
“She’s finally here, Happy Birthday ‘Maverick’ it’s your day! #Blessing,” the proud dad captioned a photo of his newborn’s footprints.
He then revealed the baby was not planned, as LaLonne had conceived despite using birth control: “also she’s living proof IUDs (intrauterine devices) might not work…,” The-Dream quipped. “meant to be!”
The musician, who wed LaLonne in 2014, also shared the first photo of little Maverick with fans. She is the couple’s third child, joining big brothers Lord and Heir.
The-Dream, 39, also has a 12-year-old daughter and 11-year-old twin sons with his first wife, singer Nivea, seven-year-old girl Violet with his second wife, pop star Christina Milian, and a boy born in 2013 to his ex-girlfriend Lydia Nam.
