Movie musical The Greatest Showman has reached the top of the U.K. box office chart in its sixth week of release.

The film, which stars Hugh Jackman as real-life entrepreneur P.T. Barnum and features a supporting cast which includes Michelle Williams, Zac Efron, and Zendaya, made $3.02 million in British cinemas last weekend (02-04Feb18).

The remarkable success of Michael Gracey’s film comes more than one month after its initial U.K. release, and has delighted 20th Century Fox bosses.

We’d like to thank everyone for returning the embrace, making it the UK’s number one during the most vibrant time for cinema going in recent history.”
