The Kardashians Attempt to Block Blac Chyna’s Trademark Application

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian have reportedly opposed Blac Chyna‘s request to trademark the name “Angela Renee Kardashian”.

Chyna, whose birth name is Angela Renee White, filed documents in May (16), around a month after her engagement to Rob Kardashian, to trademark what will be her married name – Angela Renee Kardashian – in a bid to make money from the moniker for “entertainment services, television and movie appearances”.

However, Rob’s siblings are reportedly trying to prevent her from profiting from the family name and have filed paperwork through their companies opposing her trademark application.

According to documents obtained by TMZ.com, they claim the trademarked name would cause them to “suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.” They also add she is “deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity” of the Kardashian name.

On her trademark application, the reality star also stated she would use the name for “Advertising services, namely, promoting the brands, good and services of others”, conducting parties and “personal appearances by a social media celebrity, model, actress and performer.”

Chyna began dating Rob in January (16) and they are reportedly planning to exchange vows in front of TV cameras next year (17). They are no strangers to being followed by a camera crew thanks to their reality show Rob & Chyna and even let the crew be present for the birth of their daughter Dream in November (16).

Dream is Rob’s first child and Chyna’s second – she is also mother to King Cairo, four, from her relationship with rapper Tyga, who is currently dating Rob’s half-sister Kylie Jenner. The couple reportedly don’t have a date set for their big day but have been looking at venues, while Chyna has been eyeing up different wedding dress designers.
