The Wolf of Wall Street tops U.K. box office for third week running

Leonardo DiCaprio is still king of the U.K. box office as his hit movie The Wolf Of Wall Street has topped the chart for the third consecutive week. The true story of stockbroker Jordan Belfort’s wild life and dirty dealings, directed by Martin Scorsese, racked up weekend (31Jan-02Feb14) takings of $3.7 million (£2.3 million).
It managed to keep Steve McQueen’s drama 12 Years A Slave in the number two position once again, with $2.2 million (£1.4 million).
Zac Efron’s romantic comedy That Awkward Moment debuted in third place, with $1.5 million (£961,000), fantasy action I, Frankenstein entered the chart in fourth place with $1.3 million (£811,000), and the top five was rounded out by Disney animated adventure Frozen, which took $1.2 million (£777,000).
