The NBC drama Third Watch, another John Wells-produced drama, is planning to present a three-episode series about the Sept. 11 attack. Airing on Oct. 15, 22 and 29 in the 9:00 p.m. hour, the first episode, a “non-scripted tribute hour,” will feature the show’s cast interacting with real New York firefighters, police and paramedics, who will describe their own experiences on Sept. 11th. Returning to the fictionalized-drama format, the second episode, titled “September 10th,” will concern the lives of the World Trade Center “heroes” on the day before the tragedy; the third, “New Beginnings,” will take up their stories one week after the attacks.
