Thomas Gibson sued by former manager

Actor Thomas Gibson’s former manager is suing the star for commissions he insists he is owed following their split earlier this year (14). Frontline Entertainment Management’s Craig Dorfman claims he is due 10 per cent of the $4.8 million (GBP2.8 million) annual salary his former client picks up as the star of TV series Criminal Minds.
According to documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by Deadline Hollywood, Dorfman has represented Gibson since 1996, and supported him through a series of career crises.
Dorfman claims Gibson has now breached an oral agreement made in 2003 by failing to pay him 10 per cent of his salary.
He alleges that his former client demanded the commissions be reduced to 7.5 per cent, and when Dorfman refused, he was terminated. He is seeking at least $480,000 (GBP282,000) in damages.
