The actress, who plays Lady Sif in the film franchise, took to Twitter.com on Tuesday (25Sep12) to tell fans she had injured her leg and was in hospital, but didn’t go into details.
She wrote, “I sustained a pretty horrible injury. I’m lucky I’m not paralyzed. Thank you (with all of my heart) to those who’ve looked after me.”
Alexander later added, “Already in recovery mode and my spirits are high. I’ll be back kicking a** as Lady Sif in no time! It can only get better from here on out!
