Thurman’s stalker arrested, placed under doctors’ care

Jack Jordan was found guilty of fourth-degree stalking and one count of second-degree aggravated harassment by a jury in 2008 after he bombarded Thurman with notes and letters, and threatened to kill himself outside her New York home in 2005.

He was ordered to seek psychiatric counselling and stay away from the Kill Bill star for five years.

But Jordan, 39, reportedly broke the order of protection in October (10) by making a series of calls to the actress’ cell and New York office phone, prompting Thurman to lodge an official complaint with cops.

Officers tracked Jordan down to Maryland and moved to arrest him days before America’s Thanksgiving holiday (25Nov10).

But police were stunned when they found Jordan sitting in front of a computer, with the star’s name typed into a search engine, according to Lucille Baur, a spokesperson for the Montgomery County Police Department.

He appeared before court officials in a recent extradition hearing, to determine if he should be sent to New York, where there’s a warrant for his arrest, but is said to have lost his temper and gone “berserk”, according to the New York Post.

His outburst prompted authorities to place him under care at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, and GossipCop.com claims another hearing has been set for 21 December (10).
