Tito Jackson’s band sued over name

Singer Tito Jackson has been hit with a trademark infringement lawsuit.
The former The Jackson 5 hitmaker and members of his group, the B.B. King Blues Band Featuring Tito Jackson, are being sued by bosses at B.B. King Music Co. for using the late blues singer’s name, reportedly without permission.
According to TMZ, an oral agreement was reached between the parties, but representatives for King’s estate never signed off on the deal.
The executives are seeking undisclosed monetary damages and they are calling for a ruling preventing Tito and his group from using the name.
