Toby Keith drinks with Australian troops in war zones

Country star Toby Keith makes a beeline for Australian camps when he is entertaining troops abroad because he knows they have beer in stock. The singer is a regular collaborator with the United Service Organizations, which brings artists into war zones to entertain U.S. soldiers fighting abroad, and he has performed in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
Keith has now revealed he seeks out Australian soldiers when he is in a war zone as they are one of the only groups to allow drinking on base.
He tells the Sydney Morning Herald, “I would find the Australian flag (because) I knew the Australians would have beer, so I would go there and they’d say ‘Yeah mate, come in, here we go’. So I drank whatever beer they had.”
