Top of the Lake among Australia’s Logie Awards nominees

Elizabeth Moss’ drama series Top Of The Lake is in the running for one of Australia’s top TV awards. The Mad Men star’s show, which was filmed in New Zealand, received a nod in the category for Outstanding Miniseries or Telemovie at the upcoming Logie Awards, Australia’s prestigious small screen prizegiving.
The show faces competition from An Accidental Soldier, Better Man, Paper Giants: Magazine Wars and Power Games: The Packer-Murdoch Story.
Other big contenders for awards include long-running soap opera Home and Away, which scored a clutch of nominations including acting nods for Dan Ewing and Stephen Peacocke, and prison drama Wentworth, which will compete for Outstanding Drama Series with A Place To Call Home, Offspring, Redfern Now and The Time of Our Lives.
The Voice and The X Factor Australia will go head-to-head for the Most Popular Light Entertainment Programme prize.
The awards will be handed out at a ceremony in Melbourne, Australia on 27 April (14).
