Tori Spelling accused of missing rent payment

Tori Spelling’s representative has insisted a “clerical error” was to blame for the star falling behind on rent for her former home. The former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress moved out of the Tarzana, Los Angeles property she rented with husband Dean McDermott and their four children last month (Dec13), but was subsequently slapped with a notice from the landlord claiming she had $7,750 (£4,843) rent outstanding for January (14).
The missive demanded payment within three days, and now her spokesperson has told TMZ.com the missed rent was down to an error and the matter was settled earlier this month (Jan14).
It was a tough end to 2013 for the actress – as well as moving home, McDermott was at the centre of cheating reports. A woman named Emily Goodhand claimed to have enjoyed a fling with the Canadian actor while he was in Toronto promoting the TV series Chopped Canada.
