Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott sued over wedding show

Tori Spelling and Dean Mcdermott have been dragged into a legal spat over their reality TV show Tori & Dean’s sTORIbook Weddings. The couple’s Life in a Bowl Productions, is among the companies named in a suit filed by Denny O’Neil Jr., Jake P. Hall and Charles W. Malcolm, who claim the show was a stolen idea they came up with.
The trio is seeking $60 million (£39 million) for what they believe was a breach of contract, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Spelling and McDermott’s show aired in America in 2011 and followed the couple as it created dream weddings.
According to their suit, O’Neil, Hall and Malcolm registered the same idea in 2007 for a show called Wedding Rescue, which would’ve starred Spelling and McDermott.
